KissAble Canine is dedicated to bringing fun and affordable canine education to dog enthusiasts. Workshops may also be opportunities for shelters and rescues to raise money for their cause. Please check the workshop description to know if you can bring your dog with you.

Workshop Descriptions

Leash Manners 101
Learn to walk your dog with a loose leash in this fun and interactive workshop. All students will learn the difference between loose leash walking, heel and sniff time using skill games!  This is a hands-on workshop so bring yourself, your dog and be ready to learn.


Artful Dog-rrr
Color outside the lines in this fun art class for canines! Each student will get pet-friendly paint and encourage their dog to create their own, original painting.  Using obedience cues that they know or the new ones we will help you learn, we will be bringing out your dog’s inner ‘Picasso.’  You will be able to bring home your dog’s art piece home to hang that day!  Class price includes canvas and washable paint.  Come and get your paws dirty with KissAble Canine!



The Nose Knows (I and II)
This workshop is focused on your dog's keenest sense: smell!  It's a two part workshop that stimulates their brainpower, encourages them to work independently and keeps it fun for dogs of all ages and breeds.
Seeking is a natural part of dog behavior so we harness that ability and turn it into a brain-busting game of hunt!

K.I.S.S.™Bad Habits Goodbye!



You may need this workshop if your dog...

  • digs in the yard

  • pees when he/she is mad

  • runs out the door

  • nips at your feet, bicycles, runners

In this workshop, you will have the unique opportunity to present problem dog behavior that we will work on.  Take away the solutions to alter bad behavior that day! This is a people only workshop.

Puppy Time!
Expose your puppy to new people, places and situations in KissAble Canine's workshop for puppy owners and their puppies.  Learn about Puppy Rearing Essential and fun games to incorporate into your everyday activities. This is for dogs under 6 months of age.  The first two distemper boosters are required.


Canine Meditation and Healing
KissAble Canine is excited to offer this workshop in partnership with Mimi Malfitano, meditation teacher, Reiki master and owner of Subtle Transformations.

This workshop will give you meditation and energy healing techniques that you can practice with your dog.  We will focus on calming our own energies so we can offer better guidance and leadership to our canine companions.  With the expert guidance of Mimi, this workshop is sure to be an enlightening experience.

The workshop is great for new dog owners, shy or timid dogs and for the owner looking to enhance the bond they have with their dog.  Dogs must not be aggressive to other dogs or to people.  This workshop will be a small group, please register early.


Dog Park Manners

Come join us as we talk about the pros and cons of taking your dog to a dog park, what to do when things get out of hand and how to prevent your dog from having a bad time.  Join Lisa Tudor, CPDT, in this interactive discussion where she'll share her "Dog Park P's and Q's" and tips on how to socialize your dog.  Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome.


KissAble Canines and the Kids that Love'em

Do your kids love dogs?  Come join KissAble Canine for this fun,interactive workshop about safety between kids and dogs!  Your child will learn what a proper dog greeting is, what a dog’s body language is telling them, how to prevent a dog bite, and what to do if a dog charges them.  All children under 12 are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.  We will have dogs to “practice” on, but please leave your dog at home.
