Things to help along the way
Below are items that we personally think can help many dog owners understand their dog and how to manage a compatible lifestyle. From books to DVDs to enrichment games and toys...this is where you can find most of it.
On Talking Terms with Dogs by Turid Rugaas - this is where all dog owners should start. A book on how your dog communicates (hint: body language) with other dogs and gestures they will even give to us.
Power of Positive Dog Training by Pat Miller - this book is thick with information on training your dog. Interested in teaching them a new basic cue, this is the book for you.
101 Dog Tricks by Kyra Sundance - yes, sits and downs are necessary but get a little boring after a while. This is a book to get when you need to work your dogs brain and have fun doing it.
Click to Calm by Emma Parsons - a wonderful way to use the clicker in working with a reactive dog.
