With KissAble Canine, now you do! This training service meets the demands of your busy schedule.

Day school is a service where a qualified KissAble Canine trainer will come to your home to train your dog while you are at work or on vacation.

How does it work?
We work with you to schedule the initial session at a time that is convenient. Once an initial session is scheduled, you are asked to complete a detailed behavior intake form.  This allows us to have a background on your dog prior to the initial session.  

The initial session is your opportunity to meet the trainer.  It is the trainer’s opportunity to give you an orientation to how we work and to meet and assess the dog. This initial session is approximately 60 minutes.

All day school options come with email and phone support from your trainer. Day school lessons with your dog are 45 minutes.  

In the initial session, we establish what might be the best program for your dog based on your training expectations.  We prefer to meet you and your dog before recommending a package.  However, please familiarize yourself with our three options.

Day School Options

Prep School
This is the basic package that trains your dog to understand hand and verbal cues.  This curriculum is customized.  A basic plan may include: attention, sit, down, stay, come, and intro to leash manners.  In the basic package, a single follow-up session is included to demonstrate what your dog has learned.

Middle School
This is the intermediate package that trains your dog to understand verbal cues in mild distractions.  This curriculum is customized to your dog.  An intermediate plan may include the basic cues (see Prep School), as well as leave it, drop it, go to your place and wait. This includes two follow-up lessons with the trainer to demonstrate what your dog has learned.

Junior College
This is the advanced package that trains your dog to understand verbal cues in and around the home.  An advanced plan may include Prep and Middle School cues plus more advanced manners such as heel, longer distance recalls and significant outdoor distractions. This package includes three private lessons with the trainer to demonstrate what your dog has learned.
