Gwen Podulka has over 16 years of training experience.  Gwen started her training career when deaf dalmatian, Pongo, joined her household and communication between the two quickly became an issue.  While continuing to manage bookstores she pursued a variety of classes, seminars, handbooks and educators in an effort to learn what makes a canine tick.  She began a full time career with canines that started with teaching classes at the local shelter, progressed to running agility courses and working search and rescue.  This culminated into teaching service dogs for clients with a vast array of abilities.

Passionate about what it means to have a canine best friend Gwen continues her education and working towards receiving her canine behavior consultant certification as well as teaching her newest canine companion, deaf bearded collie Lemon, how to play Treiball.

Jamie Eaton has been a part of the KissAble Canine family for a long time. She was inspired to pursue a career in dog training after her rescue dog, Bryn, began exhibiting signs of fear aggression. In her quest to make her rural pup feel more at home in her new urban environment, the pair attended several reactive dog courses. Jamie’s current focus is working with dogs on basic manners, while she continues to study dog behavior, particularly in fearful dogs. Jamie is also trained TTouch (Tellington Touch) methods for calming and relaxing fearful dogs.

While Bryn tragically passed away after a short battle with an immune system disorder in 2010, she continues to be Jamie’s inspiration on a daily basis.
